I look like I've just been caught,,,,LOL!!

 

Ummmmm Soooooo Gooooood!


I've done well with my eating and water intake this week. So I caved in to the Bavarian  Creme Donut that was 'SCREAMING' my name...LOL! I only bought and ate just one.  Did some housework today and piddled in the yard and planted a few flowers in pots, and helped Hub2B drain the yard pond part way and got the pump going.

Made a triple batch of veggie spag sauce I put 3 serving into baggies to freeze and left out a 'lil dab for dinner this week. For now I'm finishing this post and going to hit the hay. Catch everyone later!!

Autism 5K Benefit Race ~ 1st post

     Autism is a neurobiological disorder affects a person’s ability to communicate, affect their social relationships and is often accompanied by behavioral challenges.
     A local group organized a 5K race to help raise money for Autism research. It was an honor to be there with my daughter, as always, and to have been a part of the cheering section.

Jelly Bean Virtual Race~Check!

What the Hell was I thinking!

Recorded steps = 3.288 mi!!

Still not sure what got into me when I signed up to do this 5K virtual race. Here's a shout to Jess at 'runwithjess.com' thanks for doing this.   My young'un is the racer not the 'Momawrazzi' so I walked. It was a challenge to say the least as this was done with an injury on my part. Like the crazy person I am I thought it would be a piece of cake to bowl again after 35 years, and then tripped later that night when walking the dog Andi. Lord knows I didn't want to fall on Andi, so I attempted to "catch" myself. Hindsight is laughing at me~the Witch! My time was terrible even for a walker, (1:05:00) But it's done and I will most likely do it again...the race that is.

 thank goodness I worked in an area that I was sitting,
apparently it needs as much rest as possible,
today was that day and the only day I have to devote rest to.

Whew!! Get'n~R~Done

It's been busy for me since last post. I made a plan in my head and have worked hard at getting 'most' things done. The biggest accomplishment has been to get the upstairs cleaned and converting a walk in closet into a craft area for me. It's on the small side but it will be fine for my purpose. Also my awesome daughter started her running season the first weekend in February, yeah were talking snow and cold!!  Here are pics from my clean and organized rooms,

Where the microwave sits is a plug in for a electric stove!

This table was in really bad shape and too large for this space.
Lucky for me Hub's 2B has a BIL that's a Master Carpenter!

And of course a small frig.

This is the bedroom, it's large enough for a full size bed but I have a

daybed (trundle underneath) in order to have more floor space.

The old stero system in the corner will be going to the

basement once I have the spot ready for it~Yea!!

Not a Slacker....

Truly I'm not trying to be a slacker...I've been sorting pots, pans, dishes, glasses, flatware and cleaning cabinets general organizing after all the purging....stay tuned for further updates...

hard to believe they were both preemies...

Kaylan was 7 weeks early weighed 4.0 lbs,

Baylee was 9 weeks early and weighed 3.4 lbs.

And in 18 days Kaylan will be 18!!!
Of course being the 'Momaw' that I am there are
special names that are used.

Kaylan' is Sweetie Snookum's (honey bunny)......
Baylee' is Sweetie Pie (sugar plum).

We have known each other for 20 (?) years, and it surprised most people when we 'openly' started dating . Our first offical date took several months of him asking and me saying I'll think about it, and even then people can't believe that I called his ex prior to accepting..she and I were working friends and I felt like it was the right thing to do! We have been together 7+ years...little did I know that he would be the 'Ying' to my 'Yang', ~almost sounds dirty~...LOL!!   

As the next chapters of my world happen I hope you will follow and enjoy...!!

Super Cute Socks!!

     My daughter Bobbie had a side bar advertisement on her blog from Courtney at '3xacharmrunner' about a Secret Santa Sock Swap....well I couldn't pass this up!! So I registered. Then while going to Sevierville for her last(?) race of the season Bobbie starts talking about it...I'm thinking..Hmmm should I tell her I entered?? I swear I was going to but of course we get to talking about everything and I didn't...Courtney sends me a name and address..I get all kinds of stuff together and send 'Papaw' to mail it.

A few days later a package arrives and look what was in it..! 



I know your all jealous of my socks...thick and cozy on my feet...

That's what has been happening around here....and There's No Excuse! I have thousands, (well maybe only hundreds) of photos like can/could be posted. The New Year will be here soon let's see if I make a few positive changes.

such a sad,sad day my tried and trusted Conair curling iron finally died....I hate breaking in a new one...apparently they don't make this one anymore...I've looked...duck tape held the switch where it needed to be since my thumb would 'switch it off' accidentally.
